don't worry about finding a passion "before its too late"...the subjects you're learning in high school are so much more broad and generic than the areas of study that you get the opportunity to explore in college that it'd be a shame for you to miss out on something that you could potentially really love/excel in because you are so stuck on that one thing you thought you had a passion for before college. don't feel pressured to plan out your future too strictly.. leave some room for growth and changes when you get there :]
It's a lot more with a career-wise aspect too.. I've been thinking a LOT lately on whether or not to pursue something in music, my real passion, or try for a more school academic-oriented thing.. I've already started worrying about finances and how to choose which UCs/colleges to apply to! How did figure out which ones seemed right for you?
by visiting them, definitely!! i've always believed that the best college for you is the one in which you feel the most comfortable and able to be yourself. i'd definitely plan on visiting some colleges this summer, or during spring break or something [when there are students around!]
