i think straight edge is seriously retarded.
i'm a live and let live kind of gal, so i'm obviously not going to tell straight edge people not to be, but like, why do you need to claim to be something?
you can not do drugs and not be a slut and not get drunk without being straightedge.
and no one is FOREVER edge. you don't see some 30 something person at say, a dinner party being offered wine and saying, "oh, no thank you. i'm straight edge."
people do what they want though. happens.

actually, i have more than a few thirty-something friends who are very edge. if you are true to your decision and have a lifechanging reason behind what you believe, edge for life IS edge for life. you just have to not be a pussy fuck.
