I hate hate hate friends only communties. but the application for the community is really interesting and different, and i liked it. especially the "Opinions" section. :)

Why do you hate them? I mean, is there a specific reason? I made mine friends only because if it's not friends only people can go in and randomly comment, which I don't like. This just helps to keep non-community members OUT.

Thanks, I made the application myself...but I used ideas from other applications I had seen, to make sure I had a variety of questions and things that would really tell about a person.

i only hate them because you have to join them, to see how people vote, and to see how the mods are, and members are to new applicants. many people like to check out the community before they join. its not hard to join and then if they dont like it, to just leave it, but its kinda a hassle.

Yeah, I can understand that. I just figured making it "friends only" would be the best way to keep spammers and unwanteds out.

Thanks! I know, I'm learning quick that a lot of people don't like the whole "friends only" thing...but I did it to keep out spammers and people that I don't want commenting on random people's posts.

There are a lot of + & - to having a 'friends only' community.

I personally make all of my entries almos everywhere friends only because I don't want lurkers who aren't smart enoug to join the community to steal my pictures. Not that I'm so concerned about pictures of myself, but I'm rather proud of my body m0ds and like to keep them to myself. Ahh, I'm done rambling now!

but I didn't like a lot of the other stuff such as your choice of music and your random i guess but that's not really what matters
