I really don't think you should break up with him, because most guys are just like that. Seriously, I'm not going to tell you what to do, but that's my opinion. I dont think he'd be so defensive if he thought you guys were in love, though. Because love is all about trust..But who knows? All your friends hate me, so they'll tell you not to believe me, anyways. So..Just trust your instincts, and go with that.
