OPINIONS.
Gay Marriage:I think if you’re in love, you should be able to marry a member of the opposite sex. People would do anything for love, and if they’re gay, they should show it. I know kids who are too scared to come out of the closet because of this whole “Being gay is wrong” spiel that’s going on. That’s terrible. The Bible says it’s wrong, but so what? Not everyone follows the Bible. I’m all for gay marriage.
Religion: Everyone is free to have their own beliefs, so if you find a religion that suits you, that’s great. Religions can help people lead their lives 100 times better than they did before and I think that’s wonderful. If you don’t feel any religion out there is right for you, you just simply have a new way of thinking. It’s no big deal really. No two people have the same brain, henceforth, no two people think exactly alike. Religion is all about what you believe and what you don’t.
Stereotypes: Not many people like them, but hey, stereotypes are a part of society whether you like it or not. They can be very deceiving and make people think poorly of others. When people stereotype me, whatever, it’s no big deal. I don’t really like stereotypes though.
Legalization of Marijuana: I’m not going to lie, I do enjoy smoking pot. It calms me down and it’s fun to do sometimes while just hanging out with friends. But I think legalizing it would be a little too much for people to handle. Kids would just start smoking it for the hell of it. After all, if it’s legal, why not give it a shot? That could lead to health problems, more ignorance in humanity, doing hard drugs and so forth. That wouldn’t help the world out too much. When people say they want to smoke weed, I do not advise it. It led me to doing some serious stuff, and I don’t want other people to make the same mistakes as I did. Drugs are fun while they last, but dismal in general. Back to the legalization topic though, I don’t think it would be a good idea.
Emo/sXe/hXc. "The Scene" in General: Emo isn’t all about crying and hating the world. It’s about being in touch with your emotions through music. Most underground emo bands don’t even write about crying and breakups. They actually have a lot of musical and lyrical integrity. As for being straight edge, if you’re against drugs, drinking, and sex, it’s good that you have those morals. And as for hXc, it’s all about music and showing your love for it. I love hardcore music and I love to hardcore dance at (some) shows. I don’t discriminate against any emo/sXe/hXc kids. It’s simply their way of life.
Make the members laugh, or else you suck. Really bad: Okay, here’s a story. Sunday night at about 11:30 my mom had just gotten home. She was drunk, so when she went to bed I figured I’d mess with her. I ran into her bedroom, started jumping on her bed and attempting to do back flips and summersaults, and singing. She was just like “Kelsey, what are you doing?” so I just screamed “Gawd!” and left. More so random than funny, but hey, if you knew me it’d make you laugh.

What makes you so fucking hot?: Well, I’m a very laid back person. I’m very open to new ideas and I love sharing my own. I’m a very outspoken person which can be pretty cool. I’m very interested in makeup, hair, and fashion (I plan on being a makeup artist for MAC one day). I love standing out from the crowd and being a trendsetter. I’m social, I love to have fun, live my life to it’s fullest & there’s nothing I enjoy more than meeting intellectual people. I believe those are pretty good qualities for a person to possess to make them hot.
