Thanks! This fic was a lot of fun to write because it was more of a friend!fic then a slash!fic. And I can see the two of them becoming real good friends over the next few season just because, ya know, two Virginia boys in a clubhouse where everyone is speaking Spanish.

The friend stuff can be just as much fun to write as the slash stuff, especially with guys like David and The Maine Event. VA boys *_* (kink) But I can definitely see them becoming close too. Especially now that they've shared the Japan experience. ...I do mean the trip, and not anything else ;)
The last twenty days shouldn't be this difficult after making it through all those months, but... ;_;
At least that Baseball Writers of America dinner is sometime in the next week or so. Hopefully that'll come with plenty of pictures.

I love the way you write Maine and Wright too. (Puts mine to shame.) They seem so casual while my fic is usually filled with emotion and complications (and there will be a lot of that in the next fic).
"Ya know, I thought I was going to be the biggest name here. But of course you have to show up." Your writing has improved *so much*. You write for them so, so well!
John sighs, "Nah, he's not coming," he says, his eyes searching the field. He still has hope!
"Too bad Pelf isn't here to see you in those sexy black socks." Pelf's probably playing golf somewhere, breaking a seven iron...
David can see that John is doing everything he can to keep from smiling. Pelfrey must really be keeping John happy :D.
It's become apparent that Jose Reyes is one of the hardest players to write for. His English is so funny.

I know! I go crazy writing Jose's dialog sometimes. Part of me wants to write it the way he says it, but the other part doesn't want to make him sound ridiculous. Though, when you listen to him talk...*lol*...

They're baseball players! They don't have emotions! xD Kidding. Different styles of writing then. I try to make conversations as simple as possible, but even that gets minimized for all the details involved. Augh, they're boys.
LOL, when you listen to him talk, it's almost like he's whining, but he's trying really hard! And he says "you know" all the time! I mean, you have those beat writers write out wonderful English quotes from him!

I especially love it when John Maine is involved because I'm a pitcher whore I adore John Maine. I'm just curious, have you written Pelfrey/Humber? I think I have a vague recollection of a Pelfrey/Humber story but I can't seem to find it. ?

I haven't, just Maine/Pelfrey. I don't think there is a Pelfrey/Humber fic out there yet. (But between me and sheep_mambo, that won't last too long, lol.) We were all talking about them the other day because of this.

Maine has a snarky wit about him that I find absolutely adorable.
