Warped Tour '05...fucking crazy
Okay so be prepaired for a loooong entry.
Ze Morning
x. Woke up
x. Got ready
x. Hid all my shit
x. Got in the car and drove away to Perkins.
x. Sang MCR and such all the way down the highway with Kayleigh and Andy.
x. Ate at Perkins.
Scranton PA Traffic
x. Sat in this horribly long line to get into montage mountain.
x. Laughed at the kids in front of us who had their car doors open and kept doing funny shit
x. Watched as people started to cut the line
x. Laughed hysterically when some kid tried to stop the people cuttign by yelling 'fuck you!' and throwing rocks at cars.
Driving Up The Mountain and Making Friends I'll Never Know
x. Drove in traffic alllll the way up the mountain.
x. Left my window open.
x. Yelled at the cars who were blasting Gwen Stefani just to piss me off
x. Laughed when they started playing more rap just to get back at me for yelling 'wtf are you listening to?!?!'
x. Made fun of the insanely preppy girls trying to head bang in their car
x. Tried to inform some hopeless man that his car was in fact going to burst into flames *people just don't listen these days!*
Getting There
x. Walked into Warped just as Senses Fail was playing One Eight Seven...tried calling lauren to laugh but she didnt pick up her phone :X
x. Got lost in the crowd with Kayleigh, therefore being seperated from her parents.
x. Met Kevin Lainman *sp* the creator of warped tour. Took picture of him :)
x. Loaded up on lots of free shit and EPs
Meeting Jamia
So yes, I went to buy a shirt at the Skeleton Crew booth. Took one look at the girl running it and told Kayleigh 'yeah,. thats jamia'. Kayleigh of course said 'oh no, thats not jamia!'. Then some dude comes out ands all 'hey jamia, we're out of such and such'. There, step one, proving it was jamia. So i buy my t-shirt *which i then found out was printed inside out, cha*. Here's how my conversation with Jamia went.
Me: Thanks.
Jamia: No problem.
Me; This is going to sound silly....but...you're Jamia right?
Jamia: ...yes?
Me: Can I get a picture with you?
Jamia: Uh..I don't think so, no.
Me: Okay.
Then Kayleigh and I proceeded to walk around some more searching for MCR. yeah, i don't like Jamia that much. Ya know, if you're going to be a rockstars girlfriend you better learn to be nicer :P
Fall Out Boy
Kayleigh and I proceeded to go into the pit to watch Fall Out Boy. We were wayyyyyy in the back and I thought 'no no no, this will not do' so I managed to push me and kayleigh right up to the front during their set. I also took pictures *idk if they came out well because some dude stepped on my camera:X*
Fall out boy was sick. I was pogo-ing along with everyone and shouting the words. I <3 Fall Out Boy.
Atreyu
Kayleigh and I decided that since we were in the front already *thank you me!* that would should just wait to see MCR and deal with Atreyu, no biggy right? WRONG.
Atreyu is like fucking post hardcore METAL. I was fucking DYING. I was like, omggg when is this set gonna be OVER?!?!?!?!?! Eventually, 1 billion songs and bruises later, that ends.
My Chemical Romance <3
FUCKING CRAZY!!! Gerard skips on stage and I went CRAZZZYY! I was like 'OMG MIKEY!'. So Gerard was pretching and such about how if your a racist or just a plain asshole to go burn their CDs and get the hell outta warped. It was amazing. They played great. I was right on the barrier and Kayleigh too. We had such a great view. Except wen the surfers came and then the security guards crotch was in my face. I pked him in the stomach and yelled 'poppin fresh!'. hehe. Frankie was cute too, he was mouthing 'fuck it' when gerard was pretching and aww, he was just idk. Mikey was the best though. He was wearing snake skin cowboy boots. I was like, omg! Hehe. Then sadly it ended :( I had the security guard pull me outta the pit and Kayleigh and I went on a hunt for her parents.
When Being Found.....Lie
x. So Mr. Cockburn finds us and yells at us like crazy.
x. Apparently they were looking for us for 4 hrs and mrs. cockburn was in hysterics crying.
x. I felt REALLY horrible. I was like....eek!
x. But then we apologized and all was well....except for my pounding head.
x. We decided to go home cuz Kay and I didn't feel to great. So we did.
x. I went to the MCR and A7X booth and bought some stuff.
x. Then we walk out to the cars, passing the buses and we see kids lined up with MCR shit.
x. Kay and I both are like 'holy...shit'
x. So yeah, we found MCR.
x. They were doing a meet and greet with some radio station so they wouldnt let us go meet them :(
Instead MCR comes out and Mikey and Bob walk right to me and Kayleigh. Heres how the following went...
Kayleigh: Hi Mikey! Hi Bob!
Mikey: Hi!
Bob: *waves hand and nods*
Anna: *mouth hangs open in very unattracitve way* M-M-M-M-M-M-----ikey
So yeah, I looked like and idiot. Ten minutes later we're in the car and I realize 'holy shit! that was MICHAEL JAMES WAY!' yeah, i'm an idiot.
When We Get To Kayleigh's House
x. Got to Kayleighs
x. Changed out of my sweaty and gross clothes and into my PJ's.
x. Walk in the hallway
x. Pukes everywhere.
Yeah, I was so fucking sick after Warped. I was dehydrated like crazzzy!! I was like Fuck!! Yeah so I went home and slept 10 hrs. I was wipppped out. But now I'm good because It's 4p.m and I've been putting up my posters and looking at all the cool shit i got yesterday. It was so amazing. Cant' wait till next years. yes, i plan on going again! I <3 Warped tour. Plus, I'm not the proud owner of :
