What are your friends like: With the exception of my boyfriend, my friend's are not like me at all. I have two lesbian best friends who can best be described as post-grunge, a best friend who knows all the words to any rap song ever, and a girl who looks like a model but listens to punk. My boyfriend is the stereotypical kid with the black hair and the eyeliner listening to hardcore music and I hate it but I love him. The guys I hang out with are straight edge christians who would die for their beliefs and they respect me even if I don't share their morals.

Abortion: Recently we studied the case Roe v. Wade in government and the Supreme Court established that the choice to have an abortion was the woman's choice, and I completely agree. No one, not her parents of the government has any right to tell a woman what to do with something she created.
Teenage Pregnancy: Mistakes happen, but promisicuous sex that leads to a pregnant 16 yr old with no possible father is horrible. If you're going to have sex, use protection, it's not that hard to remember a condom and your birth control.
Straight edge: Some of my friends claim edge, and I find it uneccessary to have to announce it to everyone. It's much cooler if you just keep quiet and don't do drugs.
gay marriage: Considering two of my best friends are female and in love with eachother, I hope to God they have the opportunity to experience marriage the way I will. Happiness and marriage should not be denied to someone for the sheer fact that they fell in love with the "wrong" sex.
Emo: It's so stereotypical, I just wrote an essay about it. I'm constantly called emo for my black hair and my piercings. No one is alike and shouldn't be classified as anything. Emo stands for emotional, a personality trait, not a lifestyle.
Suicide: Everyone has thoughts of suicide some time in their life. It takes a strong person to live through feeling hopeless. Weak people succomb and don't even try to view the fact that you won't feel this way forever.
