Brad and Jen have officially split, and although the couple stressed in their statement to People magazine that their "separation is not the result of any of the speculation reported by the tabloid media," the rumors mills have already gone into overdrive. Gossips say that Brad's relationship with Angelina Jolie bother Jennifer. "They did not sleep with each other," but Brad "was obviously taken by Angelina," a source from the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith told the mag. "Jennifer knows that Angelina got under his skin, and it bothered her." The actor doted on Angelina's son Maddox, and admired her activism. The former Friend, meanwhile, had been resisting having a child with her hubbie "for a number of reasons," and wanted to wait "until she was sure what was happening to their relationship." But fans of the golden couple can take heart. The split may not be permanent. "The separation is a step back to see if their relationship is going to be forever or if it's not," another source revealed. "They're searching for the answer, which is not an easy one to come up with."
