this cannot happen. we have all put so much into this play. yah it doesn't have a moral, because its not a cutesy story. its the story of 5 women that are very different and have different problems and personalities and how they interact with each other. Yah there's some adult content which is why it's rated PG-13 and why ms mani warned everyone and ran it past the school 37508345 times. If for some really screwed up reason the play does not work we'll all be devestated and we need to hold la protest or something.

I haven't seen the show yet, so I can't give my review of it. But I trust Mani's judgement when it comes to finding/directing a play that is not pointlessly crude, but instead speaks to both the audience and the actors. Theater is not meant to coddle the audience, but either to entertain or inform, and I believe this play does both. I trust that the actors of this show take their roles and what they represent seriously. If this show is not for young children, then perhaps those who dislike adult content (including some adults) shouldn't watch it.

I hope the show goes on, and if it does I will do my best to attend. Break a leg!
