He cheated on me every day we were together,
For two whole years.
I didn't even know that was possible,
But it is.
And it was.
That's not love, I know it isn't.
But I know he loved me.

Because when the day came that I decided I was giving up,
That I was letting go,
Was the day he decided he was going to change.
The day he cried on my shoulder,
And told me to never let go.
He told me he never wanted me to leave him,
Never to leave his side.
He told me he loved me,
I looked in his eyes

I could tell, from the way the tears glistened in his deep brown eyes.
But this day was the day I made a change.

The day I moved on.
