"Fuck You" is Cliche and Punk is Dead
I had to join this community because...yeah. I enjoy being vain when I'm on LiveJournal.
My name's Justine and I'm 15. (Don't groan, I'm a hell of a lot better than the average 15 year old computer slut: in case my grammar didn't already tell you that.)
My favorite bands would be: Choking Victim, Against Me!, Demented Are Go, The Misfits, Leftover Crack, No-Ca$h, The Clash (of course), The Kodan Armada, Bikini Kill, Blatz, The Reverend Horton Heat, GG Allin, Subhumans, Violent Femmes, The Planet Smashers, Norma Jean and others.
My favorite two books are Catcher In The Rye and Anthem. I'm working on Atlas Shrugged right now, but, its on hold since I have to do a pre-course assignment on Frankenstein.
Favorite movies, you ask? Moulin Rouge, Dogma, The Breakfast Club, Pretty In Pink, Cats (yes, I know it's a broadway production but I have it on VHS, so I'm putting it in this category), and Seven.
I'm an IB (International Baccaulaureate) student and I'm interested in the arts. Photography, mostly, and of course I making my own clothes, patches, jewelry etc. I'm a total beaded-bracelet whore. I love making braclets with pony beads and those letter beads and customizing them.
When I "grow up" I plan to be a photographer for bands and just go on tour with them. I want a penniless existence sometimes, and, I over romanticize the lifestyle. Nevertheless, that's my dream. Being on the road with a band, seeing the country (or at least part of it) and taking pictures of them performing. Combining all the things I love: photography, traveling, and shows.
As of right now, I'm volunteering at the Cultural Arts Center in my town, helping out at an Art Camp they have there. Basically, I help out little kids with their art projects and such. I can't say I really enjoy it, but, ya know.
Other facts:
-I'm straight edge
-I speak spanish
-I'm writing a plethora of stories..yet...all of them have yet to be finished
-I like to be right up in the pit at shows, but, I don't like to be in the pit
- Witty Sexual innuendos make me giggle
-I laugh a whole lot
