Aaron is home, things are significantly better already.
The past two nights I've spent with him, cleaning and getting settled into his room.
We just talked. A lot. And yesterday we made burgers for his family.
After all the ups and downs with him in the last couple of weeks, I'm glad his coming home landed us on an up.

It is currently 63 outside.
It's beautiful and sunny.
Aaron and the UW crowd are home for break.
And I have had a lot of really comforting and/or pleasing realizations in the last few days.

Things are really, really good.
And there is lovely weather to go along with it.

Next weekend Aaron comes home. I'm really excited. Katie also starts her spring break, and on Saturday I get to meet her new boyfriend Andrew. We're gonna double date, and hang out at Katie's and make homemade pizza and watch a movie. I just can't wait to talk to Aaron face to face instead of over my phone. I went to Stout this weekend to visit Aaron after having not seen him since we starting dating. It was wonderful. The drive sucked, but what can you do? He has changed some since going to college, but not with the negative connotation that that word commonly comes with. He has grown up, mellowed out. It's comforting and nice to see. If there's one thing I can wish for myself for the next year, it's to stay young a heart when the rest of the world expects me to grow up.

Second semester starts in a week. And I can't believe it. The first semester went so quickly, and the fact that this will be my last semester of high school is making me more and more anxious to get out of here.
