I just finished reading Franz Kafka's The Metamorphoses and I am seriously in awe. That was one of my most horrifying stories I have ever read. The best way to make The Metamorphosis more approachable is to interpretive dance it... no, really, my best friend and I spent a good twenty minutes pretending to be Gregor opening the door with his teeth. And my other best friends and I invented a dance move called "Jesus Samsa" in honor of that book AND all the Jesus references in everything else we read this year.
