childhood memory: when i was little i remember my parents would wake me up once a year at like 4 am & say to me "paige, get up" and then i'd ask why & they would say, "because we are going to disney world!!"
your idols: this person isn't famous, but i really idolize my aunt, because she has worked so hard to make it where she is today in a predominatly male branch of buissness. she overcame such hard obstacles and never complained once.
your views on:
politics: i like to know what is going on in the world, so i guess i find polotics interesting once in a while, but im not obsessed. Sometimes poloticians are very corrupt, though, and i don't like that.
abortion: I feel it is up to the circumstances. If you were raped and don't want to have a memoir of that then I can understand. But I think the better thing to do though is to give the child up for adoption. I know that is what I would do. But if you are messing around with a ton of a guys, and are careless about it, & you wind up getting pregnant, that is your own fault. & I don't think you should end someones life before they were even brought into the world, that i feel is wrong.
gay marriage: i'm not gay, so this doesn't really pertain to me, but I think that they should be able to do what they want. Maybe not offically marriage in a church, but a kinda of civil union.
vegeterianism: I'm not a vegeterian, but I can understand if people want to be, because it is there own life. Some people just take it way too far, though. Like the people obssed with saving the animals. Those chickens were breed to be killed, okay? Besides, all the animals we eat are no where near extinction. Most vegeterians i don't have a problem with though, its just those few who i think take it a little too far.
the high school drop-out rate: i think its sad that kids drop out of high school/ life so early. you really do have such an opportunity fill life ahead of you if you just stay in school. I know im never going to drop out of high school, because I want to go to college and get a good job in the future. Sorry to say it, but if you don't even have a high school dipolma most jobs won't even look at you. how are you gonna make money to support yourself and your family now??
cutting/depression: It is sad that people have to resort to this as a way to comfor themselves. I just don't understand how hurting yourself physically can heal you emotionally. i don't think I could ever do this to my self, it would hurt way too much. & there are better ways to deal with anger, depression, or whatever emotion that triggers one to have to resort to cutting.
drugs/alcohol: I don't think they are bad, as long as you do not abuse them. I'm not gonna be hypocrytial here, I've had alcohol poisioning twice (because i drink), and it wasn't cool, but I learned my lesson on how much liqour to have, now. Every once in a while I think it's fine to go to a party and drink as long as you don't get wasted off your ass and are responsible about yourself (& especially don't drive!). As for drugs, there are only a few that I would ever try. Like yeah i smoke weed sometimes, & I have gotten high my share of times, and its cool, but its not like i do it every day, only once in awhile. Now herioin on the other hand, is horrible. I would never do that, because it is so addictive and dangerous.
