your views on:
politics: I try to keep up with politics, but it can be confusing. I don't really have a strong view on this topic since I don't know alot about it.
abortion: I am pro-choice. There is no gray area when it comes to abortions. I hear alot of "It's only ok if the woman was raped, etc." That really isn't fair. There can be no special circumstances where it is okay to have an abortion or not have one.
gay marriage: I have no problem with homosexual relationships. I don't understand why people are so upset about it. Religion is a big factor in this topic, but it's rare you hear of McDonald's being chatised for feeding to gluttony, one of the seven deadly sins, or what are those people preaching the bible doing about things that are really a threat to our country, like prostitution (lust and even adultry) and so on and so forth.
vegeterianism: I think it is a healthy way of life as long as you are getting the nutrients found in meat elsewhere, like protein.
the high school drop-out rate: I don't believe high school is for everyone. I think it should be a personal decision, like college. Alot of teenagers don't want to be in school and cause disruption to the students who really want to learn. I think if high school were not mandatory, taxes would go down because there wouldn't be as many books and supplies needed. This of course, being public high schools.
cutting/depression: I don't understand how cutting yourself could make you feel any better. I do suffer from depression, but I never had the courage to cut myself, nor thought it would solve my problems.
drugs/alcohol: I think drugs and alcohol are one of our countries biggest problems. I think it is natural for people to experiment, but sometimes it only takes one try to feel as though you cannot live without something.
