your views on:
politics: well, seeing as how i'm not 18, i cannot vote yet, butttt politics are overrated. i know that the president makes sure our community is safe at all times (or tries to, for that matter), but politicians make a big deal out of some things that shouldn't even been second thought about.
abortion: i think that abortion is okay, and then again it's not. it's okay because if you have sex and you get pregnant (talking about a teenager) you dont want a baby at that age, you couldn't take care of it, you couldn't give it what it needs, or you're just not responsible for it. it's a bad thing because there are teenagers out there who have unprotected sex, and if they get pregnant, they just say "oh hey! i'll get an abortion, no big deal." but it is, because you should have safe-sex to begin with. and therefore the government should outlaw abortions to mothers when it was an "accident".
gay marriage: i believe in gay marriage, and this doesn't mean i'm gay, i'm completely straight. everyone says it's soo disgusting, but everyone is different. everyone isn't bound to be attracted to the opposite sex, and people just have to deal with it that way. who ever wants to get married and are gay, it's no one else's decision but yours, and i think that the government really shouldn't have a say in it or not. as long as you love the other person, then it's okay.
vegetarianism: i really don't mind it. although you need the protien from the meat, to maintain a healthy diet, you can always get protien from other places too (like peanuts.) once again, it's their decision. power the the vegetarians!
high school drop-out rate: it's ridiculous. all of the kids that drop out of highschool are completely ruining their lives. and for what? you will sit home for the rest of your life thinking about what could have been. if you drop out of high school, you can't have a decent job to save your life. just stay in highschool kids, it's only for 4 years, my god.
cutting/depression: i think it's disgusting how so many people (mostly kids) do it these days. it's the 'easy way out' of a situation, but really, in the long run, you are only making matters worse and creating more problems for you in the future. seek some help, seriously.
drugs/alcohol: some drugs are worse than others (in my opinion). if you don't do it on a regular basis, and just at like parties and stuff, then it's okay, because hey, "everyone else is doing it!!". and alcohol, as long as you do it responsibly, and don't be stupid and go driving after, then lets the parties begin.
