For anybody who hasn't heard (and if you haven't, it isn't because we think less of you, it has just been the last few days have been a blur) Laura's sister Lisa passed away at about 5:20 PM this afternoon due to heart failure. She was originally admitted to the hospital in Calvert County last Thursday night with pnumonia, but they ended up

I'm soooo sorry and so very saddened by this. Lady Ensign and I are acutely aware of what Laura's sister meant to Laura, and I cannot begin to imagine what Laura has been going through and continues to go through. I've no idea if calling is appropriate right now, so for now please simply pass along our thoughts and our love to Laura.

And although I know it's obtusely trite and cliche, if there's anything we can do for Laura, let us know.
