Thank god I have the day off today (and tomorrow!). Finally got an electrician out to look at some issues we were having (in short, half the outlets in the house mysteriously stopped working, and the front lights have been out for a while). The outlet issue was solved when we finally tracked down a mis-wired GFI switch by the basement

Actually, above is totally sarcasm free... we're seriously saving a ton of money because we extended the home warranty. In fact, the only thing we're paying for out of pocket is a floater switch and drain pan for the part of the unit that is in the attic, because they weren't mandated by building code when the house was first built, but now are (though the nice thing is, once they are installed, if we have any catastrophic failures of the HVAC stuff in the attic, the water will drain OUT of the house vs. through it). I.E., we are paying for them to install stuff that we don't already have.
