although it would start an uproar, i'm for it. i grew up in a house full of chain smokers, so i can't stand cigarette smoke. ask this question: is it kosher to be in the passenger seat of your friends car cruising down the highway during a snowy January evening and open the window because you like the cold air? No, it's not because scrawny fucks like me get all cold and shivery. it's the same as blowing smoke in someboy's face while they're trying to taste the steak they just ordered. you shouldn't have to endure stinging, watery eyeballs at a concert because somebody else is having a "nic fit". it's a common courtesy and respect thing. hope that helps Murray. peace.

Just as the kid above said it is a common courtesy to not smoke around people who don't it goes both ways, It is a common courtesy to get yourself out of the situation if you are uncomfortable. For example..... I used to go to my frineds house al the time and he smokes, not once did I ask him to not smoke ebcause it is his house and it is not my place to tell him what he can and can't do but at the same time when he did smoke he would near a window or at least open a window out of respect for me. Seriously if everyone just uses common sence there wouldn't be any need for a bann on smoking.
snort some coke instead you big gaysken_decostMay 23 2005, 21:08:31 UTC
i hate everything about smoking so id like for it to be banned but it would never happen. whats the point in smoking, seriously im such a drug free kid and taking drugs seems more reasonable to me then smoking. seriously smoke some pot or shot some herion youre going to get something out of it, youll get fucked up. but what does smoking do? "calms you down" thats crap. i bet its all like a mental thing, needing a cigarette.

Second hand smoke is killing me even though I chose not to smoke. I might as well light a torch to my lungs
