WHO:
csi_nick_stokes WHEN: 6 days after Greg went over to Nick's place
WHERE: Greg's apartment
Greg stood at the front door of his apartment, searching around in his duffel bag for his keys, Nick at his side. It felt slightly odd to be back here, the past six days felt more like six years in Greg's perspective, and he knew while he wasn't 100% yet, he was well on his way. He even slept last night all the way through, keeping Nick up with his snores, and Nick had figured that this was a good enough indication that he was ready to go home.
The door across the hallway opened a crack, and a stern looking blue eye peered out at them. Greg smiled in its direction, calling out warmly, "Good afternoon, Mrs. Leeds."
The door opened more fully, to reveal his old neighbour, eyeing him suspiciously. "Where have you been? I came by the other day with some of that casserole you love."
Greg blushed a bit, too embarassed to look in Nick's direction. "I... went on a little vacation."
"Did you catch something while you were gone? You don't look so well, dear."
"Well... something like that. Yeah. No need to worry though."
"Good. If you need anything..."
"Thank you, Mrs. Leeds."
Giving Nick one final suspicious look, she returned into her own apartment, and Greg into his, motioning Nick to follow him in. He took a look around, as if reaquainting himself with the place, before turning back to the Texan with his hands in his jeans pockets, a small smile on his face.
"I'm surprised you're not sick of me by now."
