i always fantasize about being antisocial and just listening to my cd player (i never charge my mp3 player or put new music on it because i am an idiot) all day, but i'm constantly surrounded by people and don't want to be rude. not that you are, but . . . you know what i mean.

this book called like the red panda by andrea seigel.
the main character is really pessimistic and kind of full of herself.

i've actually been meaning to read franny and zooey, i should.

franny and zooey is super philosophical and sometimes a struggle to get through, but it's definitely worth it.

i've been vehemently anti-pessimism lately, so i probably will steer clear of that book.

I recently re-read Catcher in the Rye for like the billionth time,and then followed that up by a re-reading of Franny and Zooey which is such a great book [I noticed someone else mentioned it above too].I love being antisocial and reading in public hehe mostly on the train though,so as to not have to make conversation with strangers or even agknowledge they are there.
