Diyarbakir is a metropolis unlike any other I've ever encountered. With one massive exception, the past 8 months have been quite happy, I'm glad to report. It's taken a while and there was lot of agony, but I finally feel as though I have broken free. Going to Turkey was also exactly what I needed to gain a new perspective.

Thank you! You have no idea how glad I am someone read this post/absorbed it, because Diyarbakir was by far one of the most intense places I've ever been. More tonight, I do believe!
