I don't think I'm grown up yet...I still like to play/look at my toys. My toys for me bring back the time when none of the bullshit that comes from highschool happened. When making friends, eating with someone, or going to party meant something. I rememeber when the most important thing in life was having the best barbies (& i always did...cause i'm cool like that)
You haven't gone wrong. Everyone has changed. I think I have finally changed for the better. I know alot of people (alot of the friends I lost) that have changed for the worst, but its the right thing for them. Just look at that way. Really.
& i think you should say your million other things. Really.
Yeah, I'd have to agree with Kris. This is the time where everyone changes, and more or less becomes who they'll be for the rest of their life, when old friendships are broken and new ones are made. You just have to go with it. Never forget what you've had, but don't let it distract you from what you have and what you will have.
Yeah, that sounded so incredibly corny it's not even funny.
michael. seriosuly, ive been doing it too. alot of friendships i lost from elementary school..because htey didnt mean much (so ive realised) but if they havent lasted they obvs arent worth it. and we are all gowing up. but it doesnt mean we still cant have all those sweet immature times. because i love them.
and ive learned jsut letting thigns go is easier than stressing over them. its seriously not worth it.
those people & promises mean nothing in the grand scheme of things. even [most] of the people you meet in high school will not mean a thing in years to come.
