Mrs. Roberts just pulled me out of class to have a word with me concerning our project.
As far as assistance and guidance goes, we really don't give her enough credit.
She really wants us to do well but its hard because our team is kind of jumbled. One of the kids used to never go to school and he's just starting to attend more so its hard for him to get on track and really get information. Another one is a special ed student, he's in all the assisted learning classes and has an extremely low reading level.
We have a central focus but we need to elaborate on it. We aren't behind but we aren't fully a team yet and we can't really go any further until all of us have a deeper understanding of the project and what EXACTLY we are going to be doing.
Apparently Mrs. Roberts and Mr. Engle are going to take us aside today and talk over our entire project, they aren't doing it to irritate us or make us think we are behind, they just want us to all be on the same level. So Josh, when their talking, it's not a time to argue about what YOU think and what THEY think. I know you don't think music has a negative effect in anyones life but it might. This project isn't about YOUR opinion. We need to know all the aspects of musical influence to have a better sense of what we are going to present. Mrs. Roberts isn't attacking you, she's doing her best to try and help.
It's going to be a beautiful day. As long as the rain keeps up, I'm the happiest girl on the planet.
I can't remember if I have work today or not. I'm working this entire weekend again. Friday, Saturday & Sunday. I really don't mind anymore, I don't have the energy or will to drink and party every weekend. I guess I need kind of a special occasion to really want to go out.
I'm going to sit at home all winter, read, watch more insanely dramatic Irish independent films and cook.
All I need is a good-looking guy to come sit with me. Oh and he's got to love making out in the rain otherwise it just won't work. Man, the holidays suck when you're single. =(
