I am appalled by the greed of these people. A man DIED because a HD TV was on sale? What is happening to our country?

They say that in times of crisis, we see the real sides of people. Never knew that applied to shopping too. ^_^;;;

I really hope things start changing soon. Everyone is starting to go crazy it seems.

I hope things change, too. At least things in Thailand are changing. =)

One of the news stories I watched said that this happens in many places all across the country every single year. Not the death, of course, but people being trampled and general mayhem during the wee hours of Black Friday. So I guess we can't view this as a sign of desperate times. And perhaps it's best not to think of it that way. We can't let the media frighten us. If we do that we are more likely to accept horrible laws meant to fix things that actually put unconstitutional control over us.

I know what you mean, though, about the real side of people coming out during a crisis. I can really identify with your statement.
