do you think marching band is a sport?
if yes, explain why.
if no, also explain why.

its not and ppl shouldnt letter in it because it isn't an NJISAA varsity level sport which is what is required for something to be considered a high school sport and for someone to letter in it. Jaazz band isnt a sport. Deca isn't a sport. Just because they aren't a sport doesn't mean that they aren't hard it just means that they aren't a sport.

i dont really think thats a good question to ask.
a) its not a question you can get an answer to.
b) no one can be right or wrong
c) marching band is like everything else in life. whatever you make it to be. like how some people dont think cheerleading is a sport. its not fair for anyone to judge.

it is. anything that takes determation, hard work, parctice, makes you practice and has competitons is a sport. like cheerleading, they jump around a scream (i am one i would know) and it's a sport because it gets the crowd excited. same as poms. anything like that is comsidered a sport.
