good evening from Tokyo!!
i don't have anything terribly exciting to tell you folks..
the trip over was ok, except of course for the part when sitting in the Cathay Pacific lounge that my parents were inexplicably upgraded to first class, while Andrew and I still had to sit at the back of a very crowded plane...

Wow, kate. Wow. Well, here in Australia, tensions are running high. Debate is still at large over the naming of the Netball team. PM John Howard has been reported saying that "there's no way in fucking hell they're called the Honky Cats. What the hell is a Honky Cat? A Conky Hat, now that's something i can dig." This also marked a landmark event in which the PM sweared during a press conference. It's crazy to think how many people can fit in a city. Here in Ho Chi Minh city its about 10 million. I can't comprehend. Oh and outside the American Embassy there are soldiers with rifles. That I really can't comprehend, esp considering no other embassy has them. Glad you're having fun. x

Kate! I'm so glad you're having a good time! As if there was ever going to be any doubt as to that... :)

I would just like to point out this sentence:
but I think there are too many clothes in this town
You actually think there are too many clothes? This is a monumental day. I think the world may very well implode from this statement. :)
