so the wedding plans are still marching a long. except most of our families know now. Blair is going to ask my hand in marriage next week hopefully. He wanted to do it this week and i was like not yet because my grandma has to get used to the idea first

You haven't been permitting comments lately, but I wanted to tell you not to give up hope. There are those in the Church who think that a non-temple marriage isn't marriage at all or is somehow less honorable. However, let me tell you: it's still marriage with all the challenges and blessings and joys and heartaches.

Perhaps it's just my opinion, but I think you may want to pray about marriage and when. Yes, it may have been optimal to do the whole temple to-do, but it doesn't cheapen the experience of marriage to be married outside the temple.

I am still living every detail and promise of my patriarchal blessing regarding my marriage with my non-member husband. And when the time is right, he will make covenants with Father and we will be sealed, but Father knows of our love for one another and has made away for us to enjoy that love and relationship forever should something happen to either one of us before we can be sealed. We've even chosen our proxies amd told the other about our choice.
