I once compared Nehor striking down Gideon (in Alma 1) to Darth Vader striking down Obi-Wan Kenobi. My rather conservative companion started freaking on me, not because I'd made the comparison to Star Wars but rather because I actually intimated that Obi-Wan didn't actually choose to be struck down.

No telling with some people, eh? In the Jewish communities, they're all comparing SW with Judaism, so everybody's doing it.
