Excellent news (though I'm terribly envious of the Europeans, I'm glad Michael's come around so solidly - Qntal is fabulous!) and excellent current music. I only have the first volume - anything especially wonderful on the second?

This makes me worried that i might not be suited for the teaching profession :( Moynihan == excellent, though I wish he'd revise/flesh out his essay on divine sacrifice. Very interesting to read, but leaning towards polemicism.

My favorite tracks off vol. 1 are far and away Bedlam Boys and Rosehip November (esp.). Great band...they need to tour more!

Nah, I don't think you have anything to worry about -- intelligent people *should* be teaching. I was just imagining some of the teachers at the event in question being a bit ... sheltered?

I really, really wants to obtain and read both volumes of TYR ...

Those happen to be my two favorites, too. They're beautiful. "Are We Lost" is a close third, though. If you like the female singer, Margie Wienck, in Roseship, then you may like her band, Fern Knight (www.fernknight.com and/or www.myspace.com/fernkight). I've seen her play with B'eirth twice. Very good.

In Gowan Ring needs to tour more? B'eirth only did the northeast at least *twice* last year! He'll be around again soon enough, I'm sure! ;)
