Early Morning Vacant Andys.  I remember Joe telling me about them when we were little.  He'd found me listening to Blink 182, told me they had ripped their hit single "Dammit" off them so I might as well listen to the real thing.  I don't know if that's true or not; doesn't really matter.  Still good!

The midnight walk to the library, wind buffeting me, the laptop-carrying kid wearing too little clothes for this kind of weather, is an utterly pathetic practice.  My aegis, tiny an aegis as it might be, is only that the girl next to me wrote 3 lines in the past 2 hours to my page and a half.  It is a tiny aegis, but it is mine.
