I felt it again today, those eyes
that deep blue color.
I saw it again today, that smile
sparkling just as it used to.
It's amazing how remembering what was lost
makes a memory far bigger than it ever was.
The mind is a storage room
for memories good and bad.
And remembering is
the real challenge
to get over.
