Last year...

Around this time of the month, I was driving in Nick Charneski's Buick.

It was prom. We went to Gretchen Edgecomb's house to give her a lollipop he promised. I saw Jeremy Hill walking into Mina Moore's house with a bag. Then we knocked on Gretchen Edgecomb's door until we knew no one was coming to open it.

And this year on prom night your lovely Lauren Landry came home crying and knew of only one thing to do- to flee to her best friend's house. Her best friend unlocked the door and let her cry and talk on and on about her night. Her best friend sat there and listened to her every word.
