"We all agree that we don't feel like we were doing things that we weren't supposed to, because we were told to do them. We think everything was justified, because we were instructed to do this and to do that," England said. She said she has no regrets about how the prisoners were treated. Things like this wont surprise me anymore. I feel troubled by it also. I think it’s a small view of what our political future is to become……………..There is an evolution of things to come. Obviously there are many negative elements that have always been present. From my perspective things are getting worse. Much worse.

things like this are more reason to stay, not to go. if people who object all leave, the only remaining personnel will be those who would't have a problem with it.

Have you read the Genevea Convention?

Its amazing just how many violations. POW's have the right to use tobacco under the convention.

I also hear reports.. but.. could be a rumor...

of Soldiers paying money (or forcing) female relatives of detainees to have sex with soldiers on videotape so they can show the detainee the video. Wouldnt suprise me one bit. War changes people.

I'd rather be captured by the freedom fighters.. er.. I mean 'terrorists' than be captured by American forces. Atleast they have morals.

Watch how many people are going to sell-out. Vote for bush for a tax rebate and have their children drafted to war the very next year.

I hadn't heard that specific rumour. However, as Noam Chomsky taught me long ago, just because it ain't in the major newsfeeds doesn't mean it didn't happen. I wouldn't be surprised either way, fact or fiction.
