Coloring Questions?

So I've been nearly every color under the sun. About 2 years ago, I finally took the plunge and went black (which has had mixed reviews, I like it however). Brown never stays in my hair long no matter how much I like the color, so my main choices have been maroon/red and black. I've also been blond but I was blond for so long I'm to the point where I do not want to be blonde anymore. I don't really know what color to go. I haven't been able to get my hair done for the past 7 months because I haven't had the money for it. So my questions are...
A: What color should I go given the pictures?
B. I really do not want to have to get my hair stripped, I have a sensitive scalp and it's physically painful for me.
Any ideas? My hair is naturally dark blond./dirty blond I just don't know!! .
