Compare people is a completely flawed form of comparison - it pits you against only one other person for each instance. While it's theoretically random, that means there's a chance that you're being compared with the most awesome people ever on EVERYONE's friends list. The point is, none of the comparisons can actually be taken to heart until you get up into, say, 50+ comparisons per topic...
