I'm thinking of poking around craigslist and trying out for any voice acting jobs I can find or maybe even acting in general. What have a got to lose? I don't get picked then I don't get picked. If I do it could be a good way to get my foot in the door. YEAAAAAAH! Also, I tried out Kinect the other day at Best Buy. I was actually really impressed.

Kinect, I'm almost afraid to say, stands to be a Wii killer. I did maybe two hours of Kinect at a friend's place and ached for three days, and I felt like I actually got a workout out of it, too. I never really felt that way with the Wii.

As for Kinect, it's biggest obstacle I think is the price. $150 is a bit much to be asking for when for $50 I could get a Wii. Not to mention you need a 360 to be able to use one, which can run for $300 itself, so for the whole thing you're talking a good $450. And while I've seen first hand and heard that Kinect works REALLY well, you also need a lot of space to be able to use it. I've heard the suggested space is around six feet. That's not going to be easy for everyone.
But, Kinect has sold over 1 million units in only ten days. So who knows?
