Big news! I finally got my engagement ring yesterday (been "engaged" and planning the wedding since mid-February but I didn't have a ring yet). I suck at taking pictures, and I have no idea how to post it directly here, so the best I can do is post this link to where I managed to upload it. Dear lord I'm so technologically challenged

...Who are you, and why have you added me to your friends list? My journal is friends-only. I usually appreciate people leaving a comment in my journal if they wish to be added; your journal doesn't look familiar to me at all. How did you find my journal?

By the way -- I don't mean to sound bitchy at all; I'm just very suspicious of people who add me to their friends lists without saying anything. I've had BAD experiences with random people, which is why my journal is friends-only.

Don't worry about it. I'm honestly trying to remember adding you, lol. I think probably from either a Newfoundland community or wedding community? Not quite sure.
Anywho, don't worry about it. I won't be offended if you don't add me back or anything. I understand some people have reasons for friends only journals and totally respect it. And since I can't really remember adding you I can't complain if you don't add me back now can I? LOL.

Ooh, I remember now (after browsing back a few friends pages). I read the essay you wrote on Newfoundland music and really enjoyed it and so I thought "This chick seems cool, I shall add her" or something to that effect.
