you know Alecia, i wanted to say something to you but i thought you would be mad that i knew. i lost my grandmother 5 years ago, it was the hardest thing i've ever had to see. going to the hospital everyday and seeing her on a respirator and all that, her not being able to talk. i really hope for the best for your grandmother, and that you don't have to go through it that way.
If I had known I would have given you my condolences. Both my great grandmother and grandmother are dying (my grandmother much more slowely) and my grandfather died when I was younger. I know that it sucks to see a loved one suffering, but as Vince said I hope the best for your grandmother and for all of you family.
seth...i don't mean to be insensitive, but how long have your grandmother's been dying for? as long as i've known you. so in that case, thank god for you and your family theyre still around.
This is true, but she has lupus, a disease in one of her eyes, and she can't get surgery because her blood can't clot becasue it's too thin. Shes had dozens of strokes, one of which impared her speach. She has almost every problem you could think of including problems with her uterus to digestive problems. She was put in the hospital the other day becuse she got very sick because of her immune system. Every time she goes in she gets weaker. Her life expectancy keeps shortening. Yes she is alive but I'm watching her suffer. As for my great grandomether she should have died a while ago, but my family kept pushing for her even though she keeps suffering. She has basically no lungs left, and can't move at all. She's confined to a bed and has no control over her life. It's been this way for a good two or three years if not a little more. She techinally shouldn't be here right now. Yes they aren't dying as immediately as cancer would take one, but they are suffering nonetheless. But thank god they are still here.
seth im really really sorry. thats horrible that one person could endure that much pain, none the less two. i hope that your great grandmother and grandmother go on peacefully god forbid something were to happen.
