Hello all! It's been awhile since I've done anything on my lj or really gone on the internet at all. Busy, busy beginning of the year. I'll explain, you'll be surprised what a drama magnit I am.
Alright... so lets see, lets start with my student council camp sometime during the end of August. It helps us 'get to know each other better'. The ride there was quite odd, but fun. I sat with my friend Lisa (she lives next door to me). Behind us, sat my friend Shelly with this one guy. So really, the whole bus ride Shelly, Lisa and I all talked to each other plus some other Frosh on our bus. Really, nothing too special. But anyways... somehow, we all started to talk to the guy who was sitting with Shelly on the bus. We figured out that he is a Freshman like the rest of us and went to some private school and didn't know a lot of people. For some reason (which I would totally regret later on) took it upon myself to try and help him make friends. I mostly hung out with him like the whole time. We did team building skills, games, lectures, and all these weird things. We also decided what the dress-up days of homecoming week were going to be and everything. Overall though, it was fun, and I devolped a crush on the guy (whose name was Travis). On the bus ride home I sat with him and really got talking to each, and it was just so easy to talk to him and stuff. It was really great. Then my friend comes in our seat and pushes me till I'm ontop of him (which reminds me I have to get her back for that...). I get a bit mad at her but forgive her later on.
Now, on to school. The first day of school was cool. Though, I miss the light backpack and the constant sense of dread. I got to meet all of my teachers, most of them are really cool. My english teacher is okay, really gullable (which turns out to be helpful). The first day of French 2 I freaked out, but it's gotten so much easier which is really, really great. Then for my business class (Exploring the World of Business) we tend to over talk (which is fantastic). Other than the constant talking of food and making you hungry it's a really great class. I have gym 4a and 4b. My teacher is THE most annoying person. We have to have athletic socks or he'll yell at you. If you get out of roll call order before he says so, we all have to do push ups. I hate him so much. But, I deal because I have a lot of friends in that class. My next hour is geometry which really has THE perfect time. I do it for a half-hour (5a) then I go off to lunch (5b) and come back for the rest of the class (5c). This comes in handy when you have quizzes and tests. Just take your things to lunch, study, come back and fill in the question you didn't have a clue about before. I love it. After all that confusion I go up stairs to my biology class which always proves interesting everyday. My teacher likes to make constant refrences to drugs every day though he claims he's never done any. For labs, I'm currently being fought over by three different Sophmores which always proves funny for me. After that, it's my last hour which is history. It would be the most amazing class if we were allowed to talk half the time. I have so many friends and cool people in that class that it's just so cool. So yeah, that's my day.
Let's talk about Travis now (the guy from the bus ride). So yeah, you all know that I had devolped a crush on him and I really wanted him to ask me to homecoming. I waited to see if he would. My friends would talk to him all of the time and try to see if he'd ask me. But instead, he asks my friend Jackie who is already going with my other friend Josh. I got a little mad because he knew I liked him so yeah. He starts acting like a total and complete jerk and I get a bit more mad at him. Though, I go and I talk to him and we're just about to make-up and this girl Verina comes over and tells me she wants to talk to her homecoming date. Yes, Travis asked her, but she couldn't go because her dad's an Egyptian priest so yeah. She said NO to him. I just walked away and got really mad at both of them. Now, he won't even talk to me or anything and it's rather like I did something to him when he totally did something to him. Lately, all I've been hearing from really true sources is that he's been saying really crappy things about me behind my back. Really, just nasty things. I get really pissed at him and I get one of my big (and I mean BIG) friends whose on football to threaten him which makes him really creaped out. So then I heard from someone else that he never said anything about me. Like, he talked to her and would tell her everything, but he never told her anything about me, so I was really confused. My mind instantly blaimed Verina because she must of overheard me when I was talking to him and I told him I used to like-like him (probably the reason she came over and interrupted us. But she claims that he mouthed help to her. Though, I was watching him the whole time so yeah). Then, word gets around to Verina that I think that she was saying things about me. She then comes up to me in the hallways before school and tells me that she has nothing against me and that she never said anything. Then, later that day, a person comes up to me and tells me that Travis never said anything about me either. Drama, drama drama....
Then, I like this one guy, Ben, he's really cute, shy, sweet, nice and kind. Not to mention a football playing for the Freshman team. I really wanted him to ask me to homecoming, but I knew he wouldn't because yeah. But the reason I wanted to go to homecoming with him is because he's new (came from a different city) and didn't know anybody, and like I said, he's shy. He told me that he doesn't know exactly how to make friends or any of that. So I want to help him make friends so he has more and stuff. But I found out one day that he asked someone to homecoming and she said yes. But, I also figured out that someone already asked her and she said yes to them. So she was going with two people. I don't think the first guy even knew, so I felt really bad for him. But, now, she's going to tell the first guy (Kyle) that she can't go with him anymore and is going to go with Ben instead (who asked her second). I was going to ask Ben, but I was just too late, and now I'm just going to go with my friends. Which, isn't really that bad because she got a limo (yes a limo for Freshman homecoming). SO I'm so excited for that and everything. HOMECOMING IS IN TWO WEEKS!!! I mean, I would like a date, yes, but I don't know if there is anyone (other than the two people who asked me and I said no to) who wants to go with me. It would be great if they were semi-decent. So yeah. More drama there.
