You should check out Craigslist - its an awesome resource for finding places to live & odd jobs... especially in pasadena. (In fact, I found my current appartment on Craig's list) Pasadena's far more cultured than this shitty neck of the woods, so they use Craig's list more pervasively... check it out. You might even be able to find yourself some film/modeling/cooking/extra work.

Don't forget to breathe - air is very important. You can do it. Its scary as fuck but once you get in the swing of things its not that bad. There's a bus called the 187 that heads through glendora and goes to Pasadena. However, one thing you should keep in mind is that its a 3-or-so hour bus ride. Don't forget to fill out your FAFSA - they give you money, and since you're officially poor as an independant you might get the money you need to go to school. www.fafsa.org.
