Writers block!!!!

I'm new to this site. I have been dreaming about writing an epic book or series set in the medieval Ireland. I have a clear concept, and the history of the land and my characters are both fairly well planned. I just can't get going with the story. I can't seem to find a good place to start. It's really annoying because i know it will be a good story, it might take a while to get there, but it will be a good read. I just cant get the ball rolling. Please help, any advice would be good advice! Thanks!
