Ok, I have come across a couple of communities for fantasy writers, but I am not seeing anyone post on them.  So before I waste everyone's time by introducing myself, I want to know if anyone actually uses this group.  :)

I have the same concerns about these communities. They seem pretty dead now. There's one person or two who post from time to time, but that's it.

I'm here, but I mainly check in from time to time. Real Life is a kicker.. still working on my novel and real time work

I'm here too, but just because I saw this post on my friends page. It really is pretty dead, although people post from time to time.

I think the idea of this type of community is a good one. I guess it just takes people posting again.
