i'm back from mexico city. on my trip there, i went to downtown mexico city and saw something that amazed me, despite the fact that i've seen it a million times before. there's a church, built long ago by the spanish conquerors, only it was built on top...
of a lake. and it's sinking. like, literally, every day it sinks more and more and it's all crooked and it's five or six feet below all the other buildings around it. now, i don't want to start blaming ancient aztec curses, but i blame an ancient aztec curse for this.
so, shelby, love of my life, i'm terribly sorry, but i'll remain atheist for the pure reason that i don't want my house to start sinking.
