I just finished watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind again.

So, I bring forth the question:

Would you erase someone from your memory forever? Why or why not?

I'm quite curious.

No.
Even bad experiences shape you as a person.

At first I was like "Hellyeah, if they're that bad then sure".

But then I thought about it. And it sort of cancels out my entire outlook on life. No I would never erase someone from my memory forever. The people we meet, the places we go, and ultimately the things we experience essentially make us who we are. EVERYTHING counts for something. Just glancing at a poor person on the street may change someone. It may not.
I remember everything and anything and it all contributes to the gigantic framework I make in my mind. Like a big almanac. Pieceing things together in order to figure things out; and more importantly to figure out the truth. Not as in truth/lie. As in the truth to life.

Nah, I've thought about it before, but I just don't think it's worth it. Everybody I know has become a part of who I am, in a sense.
