Dear Elizabeth:

Ryan just called me and tomorrow we are having a meeting after 5 pm mass to discuss more stuff about the club. I dunno what Kelly said, good or bad but it's coming along pretty well, i know that Ryan and her disagreed on some stuff though but not even about the club, it was about the acutal church and stuff, but yeah Ryan came up with:

JUST

Jesus

Uniting

Spirit-filled

Teens

I think its really good, we could be "Club JUST" or something I dunno but come tomorrow to mass and then to the meeting afterward if you can so we can see if everyone likes it and to discuss more things, you should be a club officer with me ok yay ok come tomorrrowwwwwww much love <3 Olivia

Iiiiii don't know Olivia. Kelly and I are kind of on the same page about beliefs and whatnot, and she was really upset. It just doesn't sound like the kind of thing I want to be a part of. But thanks for telling me. And I might give it a try later on this year but right now I'm just not feeling it. I'm really sorry.

oh.... wow ok, but you didn't even come to the meeting so how can you be so judgemental on what the club is going to be like? You shouldn't just go by what Kelly may have said to you because she may have exaggerated. All the club is going to be is just a bunch of teens, Catholic or not, gathering once a week to grow stronger in our faith and to be there for one another. Thats pretty much it. I don't see how you two can be on such a different "page" as the rest of us (like, everyone who came to the meeting) when we're all Catholic. Kelly has no reason to be upset either. I don't know what she said to you, but I'd like it if you came for yourself and talked to Ryan and the rest of us to see what its all about. THEN make a decision on whether or not you'd like to be a part of it. Not just come to some negative conclusion based on ONLY Kellys opinion. I mean, Me and Ryan have our differences but we're still friends, we want to run this club together. I think ALL Catholics (even you and Kelly) want to live their lives for God and ( ... )

Thanks for your comment. You have some really good points.

The truth is, I'm really gunshy about the hardcore religous stuff that I experianced at Hume. Ever since then, any hint of intolerence or "my way or the highway" thinking really scares me. It's a big turnoff. You're so right when saying that I wasn't there, I didn't hear anything Ryan did or didn't say, so I don't know if that's how he came off, but Kelly is a really good friend of mine, and I respect her opinions. As I do yours. But Kelly did have a reason to be upset, according to her, and I think we both should all allow her the right the react the way she wants. I will think about coming to the meeting because you're right, I should see for myself.
