two days ago i wore fishnets and hotpink shoes and black nail polish and smudged my eyes with glitter and smeared my lips with strawberry. i went to the big day out and danced like crazy and screamed until my vocal chords exploded. my friend's band, the girl with the licks of fire streaming across her bass, sang words that i had watched her write,
