Where do you see yourself in 10 years: In 10 years, I'd like to be married and living with my boyfriend in our own house, and I'd be working as a social worker and he'd be working in Prince Foods (as he wishes). I'm not sure about kids yet though. I mean, I am only 16 still.
Every heartbroken kid needs a laugh. Tell us a joke: In a classroom of third graders, the teacher says to the kids, "Today, class, we will be telling stories that have a moral to them." She explained what a moral to a story was and asked for volunteers. Little Suzie raises her hand. Suzie, "I live on a farm and we have a chicken that laid 12 eggs, we were excited to have 12 more chickens but only 6 of them hatched." Teacher, "That's a good story, now what is the moral?" Suzie, "Don't count your chickens before they are hatched." Teacher, "Very good Suzie, anyone else?" Ralphie, "Yes teacher, I was carrying some eggs I bought for my mom in my bicycle basket one day and I crashed my bike and all the eggs broke." Teacher, "That's a nice story, what is the moral?" Ralphie, "Don't put all your eggs in one basket." Teacher, "Very good Ralphie, anyone else?" Little Johnny, "Yes teacher, my Aunt Karen is in the army and when she was in the Gulf War, she parachuted down with only a gun, 20 bullets, a knife, and a six-pack of beer. On her way down, she drank the six pack. When she landed, she shot 20 Iraqis and killed ten of them with her knife." Teacher, "Very interesting, Johnny, what is the moral to your story?" Little Johnny, "Don't fuck with Aunt Karen when she's drunk."
If you had one wish, what would it be: That everyone around me who I care deeply for would never have to feel any type of pain, as in emotional, mental, and abuse-wise.
Do you have any special talents you would like to share: I don't have one- that I know of
Do you have any hobbies that you would like to share: I love designing web pages and messing with HTML, as well as going out with my digital camera and taking a bunch of pictures.
What do you think is your best physical feature: I'd definitely have to say my eyes
What do you think is your worst physical feature: My stomach- I have a "pot belly" & I hate it.
What are 3 of your good personality traits: I'm very caring, loyal and honest towards almost everyone. I'm always there whenever someone needs me to be.
What are 2 of your worst personality traits: At times, I can be very selfish and ignorant.
Tell us something random about yourself: I passed out in a movie theatre whenever I went to go and see Saw II with my boyfriend, due to an imense fear of needles- no kidding.
Make up your own question and answer it:
How do you feel about animal cruelty:
I don't understand how certain people are able to kick an animal, beat it, or even lock it in a hot room for weeks without feeding it. I would never be able to look an animal in the eyes and take its life. I believe animals have the right to be here just as much as we do. Although, many people tend to call me a hypocrite because I'm not a vegeterian. The only meat I'll eat is white meat, or Burger King/Mc Donald's hambugers. But even then, I rarely eat it.
[Opinions]
"The Scene": It has more to do with fashion then anything. It's probably just another trend/fad that will blow over eventually, just like the whole "gothic", "punk", & "prep" thing that everyone has got going on nowadays. I love the "scene" fashion though and I don't have a problem with anyone who choses to be a part of it.
Religion: Religion could possibly be one of the most horrible creations ever made. There are people who wrap themselves in whatever deity they believe exists and live their entire life by what they believe this deity would expect of them. They judge others based on this ridiculous idea, but have no logical (or scientific) explanation for being so set in their ideals. Then there are those who've never paid much attention during a religious service, or read much more than a few verses from their holy book, yet still claim to be strong in faith. Are people really so afraid of what happens after death? That's basically what it all boils down to. Religion is nothing but a crutch, and often profits off of those who are most weak. I do not believe this holds true for everyone, but certainly for most. Please understand that I'm not disproving the existence of spiritual entities. There is far too much that science cannot explain. It's only aggravating that some people won't doubt for a second what they've been taught, or take any other beliefs into consideration. The naivety of most people is far too frustrating. I personally don't know what exists and I'm not going to make the bold decision to say that I do. My philosophy is only to live life as a decent human being. If you're a happy person, and good to others, that's all that matters in my book.
Drugs/Alcohol/sXe: I'm strongly against drugs and alcohol. I've never smoked or drank a day in my life and I'm not planning on doing so either. I hate how it affects people and fucks with their heads and who they are. It turns them into someone disgusting and I can't stand it. My mother used to drink a lot and let's just say that we don't have the strongest relationship with each other. Although, I'm sure not everyone is as bad whenever they are under the influence of these things, but most are. I don't have a problem with straight edge kids. It's their decision to do what they want and if they want to be straight edge, then let them be. I respect them very much.
Gay Marriages: The Bible is very hipocritical. It states that men should love and reproduce with women, but it also says that you cannot help who you love, and that you should love that person with everything. Being homosexual is something you are born with. This has been proved for the longest time You cannot teach someone to be gay or straight. A gay person will always be gay; whether you like it or not. I think that denying someone the bond of marriage simply because it isn't the typical union of man and women is utterly wrong.
Your mom: My mother and I don't have a good relationship with each other due to things that have happened between us and our family in the past. I'm more of a father's girl. Don't get me wrong- I do love love her. She can be a good person, I guess.
Abortion: If you don't believe in abortion for yourself - fine, but don't condemn someone else's choice. No one should be forced to have a child if they're not ready. Adoption? How about adopting one of the billions of children in the world that need homes already? If abortions are to be kept limited, knowledge about birth control needs to be encouraged. Regardless, all options need to be available. Not everyone is capable of being a good parent, and unfortunately there aren't enough good parents for all the unwanted children we've already put on this planet.
[Community Questions]
What makes you so HeartxCore: I tend to care a lot for other people and their feelings. I have a thing for being able to place myself in their shows and know how they feel, even if I haven't been through their ordeal. It's odd. Overall though, I'm just a nice girl.
Why should we let you in this community: I've actually been looking for an active rating community on LiveJournal because I think their fun and I've always wanted to join one and see what people have to say about me. Oh and don't forget the most cliche answer ever- I'll be active and promote!
How did you find this community: Actually, I was looking for a good, active Underoath community and this one popped up out of nowhere and I decided to check it out.
