gratitude

all day the wind and the blue sky, hugs and pink cheeks. inside, the windows fog, and sweet voices drift through the rooms. another lovely thanksgiving, another long wonderful day of cooking and laughing, wine and kindnesses. it is my favorite, this day of hosting, of offering, of thankfulness.

i try to think of it all, all that i am thankful for.
